Life goes on boys and girls. Life goes on.

Another 6pm game this weekend, so we'll have a chance to get our tailgate on real good before the game. After last Saturday's debacle, I think I need some OVJ.

We haven't really decided on the menu yet, however, the two things we're considering are both things we've done once this year. They are:

Burgers, dogs, sausages, etc. or the chicken strips, wings, slaw, etc.

I may put it to a vote, or I may just make an executive decision and be done with it. If you have an opinion, let me know. I'll post what we'll be having later.

We'll kick off around noonish, with the food being ready about 2.

Stop the presses.

Since I just found out the OSU game is going to be an 11:30 kickoff, this week's tailgate will be our annual chili fest.

We'll have elk, deer, and beef chili, cornbread, fritos/cheese/onions/sour cream, etc. We'll also have some hot dogs and Slovacek's sausages for wraps.

If you want to bring something, we could always use desserts or even your own chili if you make some mean chili.

That's gonna be one long a-- tailgate. I don't know if I could pace my drinking well enough or not.

In any case, I'll be watching the aTm game from the comfort of Hooter's in Destin, FL. I'll be thinking about y'all, though.

Probably desserts, but you can't ever go wrong with cornbread too. I think momma is making some jalapeno/cheese cornbread, and some plain.

For the record, though, it's not about you. I'm sure you're a nice enough guy. The guy whose family loves him very much and his friends all have nice things to say about him.

Blatant product placement aside, what, exactly, is it that makes you think I'd even consider such an alternative for breakfast? If I were trying to be nutritious, there are a number of more viable, and tasty, options out there. If I were trying to be all like, "f*ck health food," then there are even more. And, to top ALL of that off, I am a wholly capable cook, and can make McGriddle sandwiches from home, or just eat some of the fruit I have lying around... present company excluded...

Post Toasties?

I was thinking leftover brisket (homemade) from the Pacquiao fight last night, with a chips and queso (also homemade) appetizer. Enjoy whatever your spouse cooks for you.
