Life goes on boys and girls. Life goes on.

Another 6pm game this weekend, so we'll have a chance to get our tailgate on real good before the game. After last Saturday's debacle, I think I need some OVJ.

We haven't really decided on the menu yet, however, the two things we're considering are both things we've done once this year. They are:

Burgers, dogs, sausages, etc. or the chicken strips, wings, slaw, etc.

I may put it to a vote, or I may just make an executive decision and be done with it. If you have an opinion, let me know. I'll post what we'll be having later.

We'll kick off around noonish, with the food being ready about 2.

Stop the presses.

Since I just found out the OSU game is going to be an 11:30 kickoff, this week's tailgate will be our annual chili fest.

We'll have elk, deer, and beef chili, cornbread, fritos/cheese/onions/sour cream, etc. We'll also have some hot dogs and Slovacek's sausages for wraps.

If you want to bring something, we could always use desserts or even your own chili if you make some mean chili.

Oh, and I will bring red velvet cake, although, I think the OU silicon pan is a nogo..it'll have to be in a regular cake pan. I gave the other one a test run, and even though I followed directions, the cake did not come out of the pan and it just got all torn up :(

The dude with the camera works with momma. He used to produce Hawkeye Vision (the University of Iowa equivelent of Sooner Vision). He's enthralled by the whole tailgate deal, and asked if he could shoot some video and then put together a little montage (sic?) that we could put on this website.

I'll see/edit anything that would go up here, and it may not ever even make it that far.

That being said, for the life of me I don't know why people freak and hide when somebody has a camera out. You is what you is, and unless you're on parole and are supposed to be on house arrest, I don't see the issue.
