1. The team did not score a single touchdown at all?
2. Oklahoma was not ranked in the top 25?

Not hating, just curious.

I'll bet the house on John Blake on both counts.

The answer to #1 is 1998.
This is the first game in Stoops' OU career tht at least one TD wqas not scored.

Top 25 question was maybe 2005???
If not, then probably 1999.

If it wasn't 2005 for the top 25 question, then it would have been Stoops' first year.
Although that would have been Blake's fault.

1. November 7, 1998

2. Most of 2005 (ended season #22)

I was going for the "both at the same time" angle instead of the either/or. 2005 was pretty bad, but not this bad.

it was 2005 on the ranked question

we got blanked in '98 in College Station

and probably dropped out of the rankings after losing to UCLA in 2005, and weren't ranked again until we beat Oregon, i think

I was at that game. I was still in Pride. It rained hard through most of the game. When the ags would fire off thier big gun, there was so much smoke you could not see the field. Sucked! We left early cuz Coach was fed up and pissed off. He was convinced that Oklahome was not going to win another game. I remember him saying that he knew he was going to hear about it on Monday, but he kust wanted to get the hell outa there.

The Waterboy (Sandler) had come out that weekend, so we went to see it in Norman. Ended up sitting right behind Eschback. I remember people cheering in the theater like it was the Sooners playing for a title. People really needed something to cheer for back then. A little over a month later, this guy was introduced:

if i'm not mistaken, this also might be the first time in the stoops era that we have not lead at some point during the game. i might be wrong, but it seems like it.

I don't think we ever led in Stillwater in 2002.

I don't think we ever led in the Sugar Bowl against LSU either.

The weird thing about that is it was 11 years to the day since games without a touchdown. How many programs can say that? I know Texas can't. I know OSU can't.

I don't think we led against LSU...could be wrong though. i know we were tied a couple times but never led.

We didn't score any TD's against UT in 2005 did we? 45-12...4 FG's. Back in '98 aTm shut us out, and UT held us to 3.

i'm pretty sure we went for 2 and didn't get it
