Even with a close loss in the sec championship game, could Alabama still stay at #2 in the BCS and play in the MNC game instead of texas due to a weak big 12 this year?

I don't see UT slipping, though given their pitiful schedule this year it seems like they should. It just doesn't seem right that a team can play nothing but cupcakes and make it to the national title. what incentive is there for playing anyone tough if this strategy succeeds?
