The 10-3 loss to Nebraska qualifies as a "bad" loss...

It certainly can't qualify as a "big game". That much I know.

Anything short of a win is a bad loss.

I do believe this is the first time I have been embarrassed by a loss to Nebraska.

Yep, not even close...it is amazing how some forget things so quickly.

Ahh... I miss us complaining that winning by 7 to a "bad team" felt like a lose.

I remember, and we weren't supposed to be able to hang in those games. We were accustomed to being let down.

THIS is all together different. I plan on staying pissed off about it.

We were SIX point favorites. The experts considered the game damn near a toss-up. It not like we were a 3 TD favorite.

Fair enough. That's not exactly what I meant. I was comparing to the general feeling of the nineties vs what we have become accustomed to lately.

Meaning this season stings, and last night was embarrassing.

I mean we couldn't kick a freakin' field goal. With the exception of the D, we looked JV out there.

After 57 years of following the Sooners I ask ~~ How many games have we lost only Scoring a Field Goal...?

I bet I can count them on my one hand ~ This Neb game was a BLOT on all Sooners Every Where - 10 to 3 ~~ :( --
When we lost to ND 7 to 0 years back (1957) We had a 123 game streak of Scoring at least one touch down in a 123 games....
Jmho - This Coaching Staff needs to do some Football soul Searching....

This is Not OU Football......

I think we lost to Nebbish in 88 6-3 at Norman in the rain. CT got his leg broke.

I miss the Nebraska bites song from 1987. "You know the Boz ain't with us now, Dante (Jones) will have to show em how, he'll break em all in 2."

...to George Michael's song Faith

Yep, not even close...it is amazing how some forget things so quickly.

Fact of the matter is, we were held without a TD for the first time in Stoops' tenure. Nebraska's offense is pretty bad, and we aren't any better.

Yeah. When I read the stats in the paper today, I was shocked. The only possible chance Nebraska had was for OU to actively lose the game, and OU came through for them. Regardless of how much bad fortune this team had suffered to this point, it was a bad loss.

it was a bad loss but the worst loss under stoops was the national title game vs suc...we were evenly matched player wise and pete carroll and norm chow made bob look like a pee wee football coach. it was very sad. I remember I was playing college bball at the time and one of my teammates older bro played bball for suc so my teammate and I talked trash to eachother every day for about a month and then the game was over by half time. my apologies for bringing that game back up.

We were actually a 2 TD favorite here in the Stars and Stripes.
