Let's say we win the rest of our games (a long shot, I know)...beat A&M in Norman...beat Tech the following week at Tech (something we haven't done in a while -- all excuses aside)...then beat the pokes in our house.

That puts us at 8-4 and possibly headed to Holiday. Keep your heads up, Sooners. Good times are bound to follow this year (barring a mass exodus to the No Fun League).

I'm rooting for us to MAKE a bowl game...winning it would also be nice

Screw the Holiday bowl. I want to see the Sooners just win a bowl game. USC would give us a run for our money and their D would probably contain our O just as Nebraska did. At this point in the season, I just want us to be bowl eligible and for us to play in a bowl that we can win. If thats the Independence Bowl, so be it. A bowl win would be huge for the fans, coaches, and overall program and it would make this season a successful one. Another bowl loss would be absolutely devastating.....BOOMER!

USC's D can't contain a gallon of milk between all the starters... that's their downfall. Our front four putting pressure of the freshman QB... that would be the difference in the game. Look at what Arizona St was able to do to their defense last night. Their linebackers are always out of place and Taylor Mays is just one guy covering the entire backfield... and doing a pretty good job actually.

Nebraska's D is much better than USCs. We couldn't give our QB enough time to pass... and he was average last night.

Insight Bowl... (sigh...). I'll take it... as long as we win the bowl game. It would go a long ways through the off-season. The 2005 Holiday Bowl was too long ago to really remember anymore and it was with a used cars salesman QB.

Nebraska won't win both of the next 2 games. They'll lose one of them. I don't care how much momentum they think they have. If anything we'll play in the Holiday Bowl we'll finish above em.

CFN Scout Bowl Predicitions assume that we are 6th in the Big XII, with two more losses, (Tech and OSU) and finishing 6-6. That's a grim projection!

Ehh... Maybe Tech. Our team plays much better at home like 10x better offensively. Doubt the pokes pull it off.
