I still love them. People say this is over the top, but I don't get what they are saying. Too late to change my basement. BOOMER!

I would like everybody's opinion on what needs to be added. BESIDES an OLINE and a QB!!! I live in Blake Bell country so I shall speak to him and tell him to hurry!!!

...an offensive coordinator that can develop a scheme to fit whatever talent might be available instead of trying to shoehorn the talent into last year's scheme.

A coaching staff that gets these fellas motivated to play every game no matter who it is...I also realize that OU 2009 is not the OU 2008 that competed for a National Championship last year. I just wish the players would go out and leave everythin they have on the line for this team.

Yeah..i would like to see us play OK with us trailing in a game or it being very close..in a close game it seems we just **** ourselves and we lose..ugh.

Killer basement. How is it that opposing defensive coaches can predict what plays we will try on 4th and 1? Happened last night and also against Miami. Frustrating.

I still love them. I tell you one thing though. Im not excited anymore about this football season. I could care less now who wins the NC game.

Exactly, I have lost all enthusiasm for any football...heck, I no longer care about my fantasy team either. Total bummer.

AWESOME man cave!! Love it, and still love the Sooners too. It's the season from hell, but there are things to be positive about, and football season is so short, ya gotta enjoy it while it's here. This season is trashed, don't stress about the losses, just enjoy the wins is my attitude. Hopefully the yunguns are getting valuable experience, and learning from mistakes. We are still OKLAHOMA and that alone will always strike fear in the hearts of our opponents. Chin up. You could be a Michigan fan.

I feel the same! In a good year, I live and breathe college football, watch every game on Saturday, know which team is healthy, know won-loss records, etc., track teams on the internet, and even listen a little to the blowhards on ESPIN.

Not this year! I even had a hard time getting excited about the Teblow incident (not the injury, just the subsequent Teblowing).:(

It's been a suxxy year all around, but I still love the Sooners!

Exactly...we have been spoiled. This is a down year, but OU will be back next year to rack up another Big 12 Champ! BOOMER SOONER! When all else fails, I can go to my basement and look at the past players and think to myself...da*n I have it good being an OU fan.

Can't open them here at work. I'll check it out later. But yea the season isn't as exciting anymore. But I still like to watch the big games and keep up with the season.

He is the next one on my wall. I cannot get a jersey with his name on it until he is done at OU, but as soon as that happens, it will be on order!

OK, I'll say it. Having your Sooner room in the basement seems appropriate this year.

I understand what you are saying, but it has always been in my basement. OU has lost 104 players to injury this year (OK maybe not that many) and the young guns are struggling, but I still love them and will continue to add to my basement collection. BOOMER SOONER!

Excellent basement! The year has been disappointing but there is still a lot to play for. We still have the home winning streak for starters. It would be huge if we could continue that streak into next year, especially with an a$$ whooping of Halloween U in a couple of weeks. It would be beneficial to recruiting as well as ensuring some recruit doesn't make a life-long mistake and sign with the the folks in stoolwater.

Boomer!

No, I think you are right. If it isn't 104 injured players, it has to be pretty close to that many.:D

Thank you! I love to be down there (especially with the keg tap) and have added a lot more stuff since I took those pics. I think I have a man crush on OU...I may need help!

Yuo don't need help. If I could afford it I'd do the same, win or lose. Even in this down season and out here in pac 10, WAC, Mountain West country I still wear my OU caps and shirts everywhere I go and keep OU gear sitting in the front window of my apartment. The few times I get handed any smack I have the greatest tradition in college football history to throw back in their faces. I'll NEVER stop showing my colors. I didn't throgh the 90s and I won't stop over this minor hiccup.

I can't afford it either, but have been adding for about 7 years!

Wow..... I would never leave that cave. That cave would get me in sooooo much trouble.

I saw a "Star Trek" man cave once. Not that I'm a trekkie or anything but it was actually pretty cool.

You should be ashamed. I thought we got beyond this. Hiding relatives that don't measure up in the attic has gone the way of sending the teenage girl to live with her aunt in Wisconsin for a year but a year later she reappears and her own mom has a "five-month-old" baby in tow. Don't hide your Sooner stuff in the the basement...or the attic.

Actually, I have two of those OU1-___ car license plates and one of the OU-____ car license plates, one on each of my cars and people either come up to me and tell me I need to remove them or they say they love them and how did I get/rate an OU1-___ tags. I have had more people tell me I need to remove them lately.
