What bothers me about the Thunder is they do not seem to care about losing by 11 at Houston...kills me, I would like to win every game...

just amazes me
The Rockets have their 2 highest paid players injured
no other team in the NBA could do what they do, with that

They beat the Thunder? Impressive?
Plus, those two players are always hurt so that doesn't really matter.

well they took your lakers to 7 games without tmac and yao, their 2 highest paid players
how good would the lakers be without Kobe and Gasol ?

Yao and Gasol are a wash, but Kobe is infinitely better than even the healthiest of T-Mac's. (My fantasy basketball team name is Trade T-Mac Now, by the way... and I'm a Rockets fan since they picked up Clyde.) It's more like, how good would the Lakers be without Gasol and Odom. But we got to see that. Kobe scored 81 in one game, and they weren't a good team at all. Now, on the other hand... if Shane Battier scores 81 in a game, I will sh*t myself, light my underwear on fire, and put it out by eating it. I get stoked when that guy scores 81 in one pay period, much less one game.

My real team AND my fantasy team... I have Kevin Love, Kevin Martin, Tyrus Thomas, and Tony Parker. I won last week 11-3, and I'm losing this week 10-4. I guess injuries DO matter...
D*mn it...

Just because you pay somebody a lot of money doesn't make them good.

First team All-Stars? These guys are hardly even on the court.

they were first team all-stars
and now they are hurt
that is my point....
and the Rockets still took LA 7 games, without that

What is your point? Your team can't manage their money well? You're relying on people who aren't reliable, and this is what happens.

Your team played better all year without McGrady, and better in the series without Yao. If you had those two guys you would have lost worse. The Rockets gave it their best shot, and they still lost.

back to my original point
the rockets are without their 2 all-stars , which are their 2 highest paid players
my only statement was, could other teams do that? probably not. It's amazing what the rockets can accomplish with the little talent they have.
idc if they are not reliable, that is not the point of my question... my question was could other teams do what they rockets do without their 2 highest paid players... that's the point

I don't know that many teams could. That is of course, because they invested their money better.

don't get me wrong, the injuries are frustrating as hell
i mean, it was a good decision at the time... Taking Yao over Jason Williams.. lol
but after this season, they will both be free agents... i'm interested to see who the Rockets get
Lebron is out of the question
Wade is probably out of the question
Bosh is possible
who knows tho
where do you think Lebron will end up?
