Urban has been fined by the SEC for his comments about officials missing a roughing the pass call on Tim Tebow. Is this fine kinda steep?

Yeah, after the Kiffin deal the SEC reported they will come down hard on any and all heat brought towards their officials. But, this is good to hear, Urban and the Gators are not invinsible, at least when it comes to some things.

And the great irony is this:

Kiffin is the one that made the SEC get all panty-wadded about coaches mouthing off. But Meyer is the first one to get fined. My Tennessee neighbors are ROTF about it.

And then, so show he is truly sorry, should ask himself to please suspend himself for the second half as well.

The College Gameday crew just went off on all that. Upshot is, that eye-gouging was a criminal act.

IMHO, the eye-gouger should be done for the year. But barring that, there is always karma to contend with. Maybe he'll blow out his knee in the next game.

It is amazing that FLA has the biggest offensive and defensive @$$clowns in the nation on the same team. However, I will still pull for them over * if they meet.
