Does OU have PR people who develop their players ability to communicate because they all end up pretty good...OSU has many embarrassments, who never improve.....

Umm...guys....

I think it's pretty clear. The University of Oklahoma is THE UNIVERSITY in the state. We don't have to cut corners like, say, that other, more northern school.

I think OSU has a similiar setup for their players. It's overseen by Dexter Manley. ;)

For some reason we've had very well spoken, intelligent football players at OU for the most part. Overall though I would say in football there are a lot of "gansta" like people who think it's cool to talk like a retard or that they are to cool to talk intelligently.

To be fair most osy players have completed the special public class for athletes.They are perfectly capable of saying DO YOU WANT FRIES WITH THAT? and PLEASE PULL AROUND TO THE SECOND WINDOW.Some have even mastered the advance class and can ask PAPER OR PLASTIC?

Usually Bob doesn't let them speak as freshman. This year is different. All sound pretty good. Although there is a lot of "Ya know", which is short for "Ya know wha i be sayin".

I would think making out with sheep would leave a lot of wool in your mouth, probably hard to talk around.

And yes, Tebow sounds like a little kid, he has some sort of speech impediment, like a baby-talk sound or something.

Lets not forget that De'mond Parker coudn't talk his way out of a phone booth and Q wasn't verbally eloquent either.

Not that I'm defending OSU, but when these guys were interviewing i'd just cringe.

Not that I'm defending OSU, but when these guys were interviewing i'd just cringe.So what if we have an occasional kid with garble-mouth. I hear lOSUr INTENTIONALLY RECRUITS kids who can't talk.(since the sheep don't require any special verbal abilities for conquest)
