I personally like him, the guy can coach a little, he did a lot better with the Raiders than anyone else has in quite a while and now he is getting Tenn turned back around. Not to mention I love his smart azzed mouth, what say you all?

I like him too. he's cocky and I like that in a coach. Tennessee will be a real good team in a few years.

I can see where many get annoyed or hacked off at him but I personally like him. To come in with an average Tennessee team and start popping off at Oscar Meyer that way takes some balls in my book. He's done a damn fine job with them this year and has kept them competitive in games that on paper, they shouldn't even be close with. If he can bring in some decent recruits, they will be a force in the S-E-C!!! much sooner than later.

They gave fits to UF and 'Bama in his first year - I like what he's doing.

I'll really like him if he starts handing QuagMeyer his behind on a regular basis.

I thought he was an idiot at first because of how he was shooting his mouth off, but I like how he got under Corch Irvin Meyers' skin, so he's moved up in my book.

I can't stand the dude myself, but if he can manage to keep pissing off the entire SEC on a regular basis I can deal with it, though I'll never really care for a guy who coaches an orange team called ut.

I would probably dislike him a lot more if he was stealing recruits from Oklahoma like Fat Fulmer was known to, and if he was in the same position Florida is in right now (Urban Meyer's arrogance is kind of annoying).

Right now, in his harmless state of coaching a non-ranked program, I don't mind him one bit. Keep driving the SEC crazy, Kiffy-kins!

If Tennessee becomes elite I will hate him.

But right now it's so gosh darn entertaining. He will probably start raking in top recruits. Dude has character and isn't afraid to fight with the big dogs like Urban Meyer.

So, I like him.

If they become elite they won't be far from major NCAA sanctions.

I like him. I like how he is bringing the Tennessee program back around and I like how he talks noise to coaches!

true that, but you could say basically the same thing for the top six or seven teams in the SEC. Not a hotbed of ethics.

Sounds like Yahoo has a Fraggle-sized boner for the kid:

On the Hoof: Cobbs has wide and thick shoulders and a fairly thick neck for a skill position player. His arms are lean yet muscular. He does have thick, muscular legs.

Sounds like an industry description of a hot new porn star!

I like the guy actually. I like teams/coaches to have a ora of confidence/swagger to them. Even if they are losing.

But I also like Joe Paterno's style as well. Letting the play on the field to the talking.

I figured there must be something to what Al Davis said about the guy when he fired him right after he took the Tenn job and immediately landed in hot water with the NCAA. The Vols are playing OK this year. It will be interesting to see how things evolve there over the next several years.

Fulmer wasn't a bad coach, but with Saban, Meyer and Miles all in the SEC, the Tennessee boosters/fans weren't about to let their school drop out of contention for conference/national titles. And Fulmer didn't seem to have them pointed in the right direction lately.

Like I said, I think it will be interesting to see how Kiffin does over the next 2-3 years.

As long as he wins it'll be OK for him, but a bad year will get old quick listening to him. He stole Saban's recruiting coordinator and is recruiting lights-out in the SEC. His dad is a helluva DC!
