money Money MONEY MONNNeee! MonNEE.\

"zzzzz" says it all.

It's not that I hate the Yankee players, it's that the Steinbrenners "bought" all the fun out of baseball. Yankee WS wins are boring and bad for baseball; they tell fans in other cities to forget about it, because they'll never have the money to buy so many top players as the Yankees can buy. Plus, the Yankees will just buy up any players that other teams develop in their farm systems. The Yankees definitley play exceolent baseball, but it was a disappointing series after the Phils coughed up Game 3.

Any one of the the titles the Yankees won in the 90's were much more impressive than the one they just finished winning last week.

Those teams were built on a young talented players with salty vets like Paul O'Neill and Scott Brosius mixed in.

This bunch was led by three big name free agent signings. Signings that surpassed the total payrolls of about half the teams in the league.

And I'm not saying my Red Sox are pristine or pure in that area as well. They're clearly amongst the Haves of the baseball world. And I don't fault the Yankees either because that's the system everybody voted for.

But it desperately needs to be changed.
