His successes have been with zone read option-ish guys that could toss the ball a little.

Brantley is GOOD...very GOOD. He is more of a pocket passer...his dad played for the Gators as did his Uncle Scot, who eventually went on to play for the Buccaneers.

On a side note...Brantley was heavily recruited by OU...Scot used to have a radio show here in Tampa and according to him...it came down to OU vs. Florida...Oh...and Brantley actually commited to sexaT...but changed his mind :)

my thoughts exactly. Perhaps some rough road ahead for the gators. But that's wishful thinking on my part. And all we'd get out of that dealio is annointing the SEC as 'Bama and dwarves'.
