A conservative Iowa group’s effort to lure Sarah Palin to its banquet next month has had an unintended effect: Rather than exciting conservatives about the prospect of a visit from the former Alaska governor, the group’s plan to raise a six-figure sum to bring her to the state has GOP activists recoiling at the thought of paying to land a politician's speaking appearance.

It is now clear why Palin is no longer governor of Alaska---$$$$$!

BTW...I want to be perfectly clear.

Well not really.

Anyway I think as long as it's possible for Sam to stay his Senior year...it could very well happen. Should he stay? That's up to him to decide. I trust his judgment.

Did you even think she didn't leave to make money?? At least she resigned to make money rather than try to do both...

Not that I think she is good for anything else and in my opinion is not a fit candidate for any national office.
