I agree. Although I'm one of the first to complain that there are way too many bowls, I also have to admit that as December winds down, I catch myself watching as many of them as I can. I may not care who wins Billy Bob's Truckstop & Cafe Bowl, but I know that as each one ends, college football season draws closer to its conclusion.

Living in California Love to see Sooners in San Diego, But - IF it means losing to Okie State No Thanks as well....
But I have No Fear of Playing usc no matter what Bowl....I Rather see usc vs Oklahoma than OU vs Ark - JMHO..~!

Perception is going to be what team we end up playing. Beating USC in the Holiday Bowl would be more impressive than beating Arky in the Cotton. Beating LSU in the Cotton would be more impressive than beating Arizona in the Holiday. That would be the opinion of the media. That was the main point I had.

We've done us vs. Ark. in the Cotton Bowl. It was the 2001 season and it was the most godawful boring football game I have EVER watched.

The difference in those two games is that Ark had next to zero chance of winning that game. Our D dominated them and they didn't have an offense to begin with.

The 12-0 game was a nail-biter to the end, as * had an offense that could score, but just didn't.

I can't see the Rose Bowl with any one but Pac 10 v. Big 10. I know it's happened before but usually with a Pac 10 team in the NC game.

Prediction: this year we win a bowl to silence all the reTards that think our past seasons were failures based on bowl performance. Same reTards reflect on season as a whole and decide that, given the chance, they'd rather have a top-notch season, play top-notch competition in a top-notch bowl with a decent chance of losing than simply win a crap bowl against a crap team.

That one was interesting to watch. It wasn't so much the 10-3 final score that got to me, as the way we got there. Arkansas had - for the entire game - 37 yards rushing. They were 2 for 13 passing for a total of 13 yards.

50 yards of offense. For an entire damn game. They turned the ball over twice. And we STILL only managed 231 yards and 10 points.

Ugh.

I don't care who we play, I won't go to the Cotton Bowl. Once was enough for Jerryworld. I won't even go to the CCG if Hook 'em manages to lose twice. However, I really enjoyed the trip to San Diego and think a win over USC would be great for the team and OU's national image.
