Hard to want seems to be your strategy. ;)

At least you're not such a lame-o that you watch Law and Order and try to find the legal errors.

Heh, I'll tell you what's lame...when I was a kid I had this almost religous devotion to Matlock. I would sit and watch Matlock for HOURS.

Anyway, for a very long time I thought every single real-life murder trial ended when the defense attorney got someone to crack and confess in the witness stand. I was so disappointed when I found out it didn't work that way in real life.

Hey, at 'Bama when you get to practice court do you have to find friends to come in and serve as witnesses? I did that several times for a couple of friends and my roommate. It was a blast. I kept telling them I was going to crack on the witness stand and confess everything in classic Matlock/Perry Mason style. :D

My creed in my middle years is I'm waiting for Ms. Right to fall into my lap. :D

I'll let you know when I take Trial Ad in third year (I think.) I've only had one "mock courtroom" deal and that was just the professor grabbing random people in class and having them set up a res ipsa loquitor exercise.

I never watched Matlock. But, I loved Perry Mason as a kid. It was always fun trying to guess who he'd eventually get to crack on the witness stand.

Being bored is never one of my problems. So, I can't help you there.

Did getting a job ever cross your mind?

To be fair, though, there aren't many jobs that keep you busy at 10:30 at night.

Roadie would be one.

Bartender would be another...

If witness cracks nowadays judge will stop proceeding. In fear of his name being mentioned
