Mark Chmura, a roadie/meth-copper on the '96 tour, said he went through the line-ups position by position and could not find an advantage for the Aussies. "And it all starts with Angus -- Angus is not as good as he was," he said, according to the report.

HEh.
Although I have to say, I'd take Free Ride and Frankenstein over pretty much any AC/DC tune.

AC/DC are Australian? I thought they were from San Francisco like Chmara? Oh well.

American Chewy said that? From playing in the Super Bowl to being a roadie in a has been band. How the mighty have fallen.
EWG's song Autum is had to beat!

Rare Earth is another group that does a pretty good live rendition of Tobacco Road.

I agree. AC/DC really isn't all that good and Angus is way over-rated.

I prefer the David Lee Roth version with Steve Vai on guitar. :)

I respectfully disagree with you guys when it comes to music. I got nothing against EWG but they don't even compare to AC/DC
This thread smells like the Fair Grounds Arena.

Ah yes, American Chewie. Nice.
So, what you're saying is that the Edgar Winter Group's albums don't all sound just like Back In Black, only with a different album cover?

I mean....I know AC/DC doesn't have a super groovy albino overrockin' on the keyboard but EWG couldn't carry AC/DC's nutsack.
