I got my hands on a lot of cherry and peach wood too.

None of the above. I always smoke turkey over pecan wood. Ribs/brisket/chicken/etc. I smoke over pecan with just a few chips of hickory thrown in.
You can't go wrong with the fruit trees though. Cherry, apple, etc. work fine.

If you throw a little of the fruit tree wood in with the pecan it really comes out well. Like Dean says...you really can't go wrong whatever you do.
Dean commenting on wood on SF.com... I've seen it all.
