Thats pretty crazy, but if voters could vote on who they think are the best teams. I believe that OU could beat everyone they are rated above in that poll.

and apparently we moved down because Oregon and Va Tech moved up.

um. they've got us 10 spots higher than a miami team that outpointed us. Now, maybe on a neutral field miami doesn't get that win, but 10 spots?

Too bad there isn't a playoff system. I don't think to many teams would want to line up against OU.

Well, we are nearly better than the #1 team in the country with our backup so take that for what its worth

My prediction is each game the offense is going to jell more and more. By the end of the year, we could be a pretty dangerous team that could beat anyone.

I want us "jelled' at the start of a season....

Totally agree. I work with a Longhorn who was bragging about the win. I told him congratulations you beat Oklahoma's JV team by 3.

Are you also going to complain about us being ahead of BYU which is unranked?

Normally, we are fast out of the gate, but have faded down the stretch. It seems to be a real balancing act as very few teams in history are strong from start to finish. There is always adversity that must be conquered.

I'd say they beat our JV offense. If that was our JV defense, whorns would **** themselves :)

Did we play BYU this year? I remember going down to Dallas for some damn reason. Just can't remember any game.

Its not always about who beats you, just like last yr with texas. It is and should be about who is the better team at the time and most people feel that because of the situation and the way we are playing currently that we are better than Miami and byu

There has never been a better example of rock/paper/scissors of who beat who than this year. TT beats KSU and puts 60 on the board, then KSU puts 60+ on aTM. So TT is gonna wallop aTm, no? But aTm puts 52 on TT and these 3 games are on consecutive weekends (14 days apart). Now these teams are way down in the power rankings, but there is no rational way to sort that mess.

TCU should be higher than Boise IMO, TCU is legit

Problem is that the Oregon win looks really good right now.

True, I guess my opinion will either change or be confirmed after Oregon plays usc

I would not be surprised to see Florida, Alabama, Texas, USC, Ole Miss, and South Carolina all go down this week lay a homecoming beatdown in K-State. This might shape up to be a decent weekend.

Oregon played against BSU in a similar way that we played against BYU. Their offense did more to stop itself than the BSU defense did. Not saying BSU wasn't good, just that UO didn't force them to be in that particular game. Since then, UO has played much better and is giving BSU a good SOS pop. I think it ends with USC this week, but I hope not.
