Bob vs Mike - Anybody think they would agree to play head to head?

I don't see it happening but you never know...

it would be okay, as long as we don't lose. That would be horrible.

Unless the Pacific 10 gets two BCS bids.... the loser of USC/Oregon will get the Holiday Bowl.

At this point I see OU in either Dallas, Jacksonville or San Antonio with an outside chance at winning the Big XII title.

Well, I suppose pitting little brother vs Bob would be the next logical step in the ongoing occasional scheme to set "Goliath" OU up for another embarrassing fall on the National Tee-Vee. First it was Mighty Us against precious little underdog Boise and then we got a WV team whose coach had abandoned them. Then of course we played God's favorite QB, Saint Timmah (whom I honestly can't dislike, btw)

a bowl game is about the only way you'd see them coach against each other. If they even considered doing a home and home Mama Stoops would probably have a heart attack.

My guess is they both would have other Bowl options

Coaches really can't turn down bowl bids anymore. Conferences make contracts, and for a conference team to say no to a bowl bid would result in some pretty stiff sanctions from the conference. If the Holiday Bowl can snap up an OU/'Zona matchup in which both teams have good records, it will happen.

So you have the Pokes going to the Fiesta and who going to the Holiday Bowl?

So the head coach doesn't have anything to do will overall preparations, so he couldn't help his OC on where to attack the D?

While I do not think Bob andMike would ever agree to scedhule a game against each other,I do think if they were invited to a bowl game they would take it.Bob doesn't flinch at playing anyone ,nor does Mike.

Why is this possible matchup any different from the so-called Bowden Bowl?

If that's the matchup the bowl selects, it'll happen.
