I hope you prove to be full of shat, but it wouldn't surprise me for texass to pound them. Pokes seem to lose everytime I want them win. Now that I think of it, the only time I want them to win is when they play texass.

Trust me I am not pulling for Texas but they are just a superior team...just like OU will show OSU that the Sooners are the superior team in a few weeks...

The one time (or so) every year that I like osu. I'm going to be watching this one (unless saxet* starts thumping them - then I will have to go puke after listening to the announcers pimp shipley and mcoy)

I can already hear them talking about how McCoy is coming into his own. They will fail to mention the shatty defenses he is playing.

OSU has given Texas a run for their money in recent years. They have the offensive firepower this year but lack the defense. Game is being played in Stillwater... I think it will be a lot closer than people realize.

A lot closer than Texas feels comfortable with.

In fact... I'd take OSU in this one.

Texas by 20 +....

10/27/2009, 12:27 AM
OSU by 20... in the first half.

OSU by 34 late in the 3rd Qtr.

OSU by 27 at the start of the 4th.

OSU by 20 with 10:00 left.

OSU by 6 with 6:00 left.

Tied as time expires. Texas kicks PAT FTW. Loses to Baylor and aggy.

should be a good game

Texas only won by 4 at home last year

then again Mack is like 12-0 against Oklahoma State

but rumor is, this guy might play qb in the 4th

I know I SHOULD root for T.Boone State but I just can't.In any case T.BS has run up big stats against horrid defense and their own D is as stout as wet noodles.UT by 20+.The only top 50 D osu has faced is #28 Missou.

I see it like this

Tied 7-7 at the end of the 1st q.
Texas leads 21-10 at the end of the half.
Oklahoma State ties it up 24-24 at the end of the 3rd.
Oklahoma State blocks an XP at the end of regulation to win 34-33.
hehehe.

I think they'd have a much better chance with Bryant and Hunter...without them, not so much. Texas wins this one. Man, they're getting all the breaks this year. They'll probably end up facing Iowa in the MNC. Argh.

It will probably be a shootout, something like 38-34 but Texas will probably win. Face it, the Horns are going to win out unless McCoy gets injured or something crazy happens.

Mizzou should not be a measuring stick. Yeah, they started off the season beating the sh*t out of a team that is TEH SUCC, Illinois. Then IDK/IDC what they did after that..they had a lead on Nebraska, but failed to do what Iowa State did (beat the Cornhuskers).
ALL Oklahoma State's defense has to do is shut down Shipley and shut down Colt McCoy's running. That's all we had to do, and we did it to the nth degree. The only problem was we had 5 turnovers and Landry Jones without a week of practice with the starters.

OSU will be pumped. They CAN get as close as they have the past couple of years. They have all the weapons (ok, no Bryant, what about Hunter?) to just match Texas's scores. At the end, the difference maker might be their home field advantage.

Carrey Murdock from Soonerscoop was on Rivals radio and said "getting a Sooner fan to make a pick in this game is like asking yourself, "what would my family do without me?" It's just to much too hard to think about".

Made me laugh.

Is Bryant still in limbo? Since this season is showing a severe lack of dominant teams, maybe the NCAA keeps Bryant out for this game to make sure the horns stay unbeaten. Then they make sure he is available for our game. You're not paranoid if they really *are* out to get you. :D

It is hard to judge Texas when they start the season slow ,and beat Okla, with the QB out plus others, and the Beat Missiouri with their QB out...Looks like a free ride for a just above average Texas team. Okla State will play with missing people...The Football gods smiled on Texas

I already posted that this season has shaped up perfectly for a sa*et team less deserving than the one that came up short on the three-way tie last year, to go undefeated.

Should the 3-way tie scenario happen at the end of this season, possible only if they lose to aggie and OU wins out, the whorns would be the South champion (Unfortunately, we won't see lOSUr fans flying a banner over any uterus games since the three-way tie wouldn't occur until after sa*et plays their final regular season game).

The 2-way tie is still possible under several win-loss configurations involving OU, OSU and UT. OUr only chance at winning the Big XII involves two losses for the whorns and the way their luck (and OUrs) has gone this year, that does not seem likely.

I like OSU in this game. Bryant is overrated and him being out might be better, won't be a distraction. Forcing throws to him in double coverage or something. Hunter being out sucks though.

The 14 pt spread definitely sounds dead on. 31-17 whorns. Although I would jumping for joy if the score were reversed in the Cowboys favor.

I ordered Big 12 tickets too, so I can stick the local longhorn fans with the up charge or go to the game in OU gear and root for the 5A north team..
