...Sam officially annouces he is done at OU...what a great player and person !!! We will all go on but he will be missed...

I think it's a great day -- A sooner great will go on to do great things in the league! That's a win for us and for Sam.

Fact is he waited a year too long as it is.

No, it's a sad day...we officially lose one of our best QB's ever...of course, we wish him great success which he will achieve but vicarious success is not the same...

I am happy for him but you and I just view this differently...his career was prematurely ended...not good in my analysis...he may or may not have a great pro career because of the injury...lots of levels to this....

Yeah, his career did not end the way we all would have liked. Still, he won a Heisman and played in a national championship game. That's not too shabby, and now he's going to go represent the Sooner Nation in the pros.

I can't be too sad about that.

I know he is disappointed that he did not get to win #8 for us, but that's life. Once that first big paycheck hits the bank I'm thinking he will be feeling miraculously better..I don't blame him one bit for going..

Nobody blames him for going but the kid was almost in tears a couple of times in the press conference...

Generally what I say does happen...Sam came back, D.J. has started playing tightend...I am just way ahead of you guys with the information..

The Sam information came out way before you said it and you said Mike Balogun was going to be cleared and you were 100% sure with a source like usual......There is more but I don't feel like listing them all.

Engineers and Lawyers have a rivalry that goes way back. Just like horns and OU. We see things much differently. I am just doing my part to keep the rivalry alive. Don't take it personal. :) :pop:

Well yeah, seeing that I have no training as a lawyer, I would suspect that I would not get much business. You however, could not even begin working on the mechanical engineering projects that I work on. You would fail miserably. You wouldn't even know where to start. Lets not go any further with this pissing contest, it really doesn't interest me...you seem to think that just because you predict something, it comes true....when in reality just the exact opposite happens, more often than not. I've challenged you to produce these "great threads" that you claim to have made, but all you come up with is childish insults.

Not to interrupt the slap fight.

Sam was obviously very emotional at times during the presser. I t was sad to watch. He's on record that being a Sooner was his dream, not NFL.

I hope he has only the best of times from here on out.
