What is everyone drinking tonight?

Any beer drinkers? IPA lovers?

I picked up a new variety at the local called AleSmith IPA, and I gotta say, if you ever see it, make sure you try it. It is the most delicious IPA I've ever had, and it's very drinkable. Previously I had liked the lightness of the full IPA in Sierra Nevada Torpedo IPA but this takes the cake.

I also liked New Belgium's Hoptober, which I had on tap yesterday, but this is even better. I will definitely be trying the other AleSmith beers.

Yep...I have an old fridge in my garage that keeps them darn near as cold as ice. Cheers to whomever invented that bottle!

Love IPAs. I have some left hand IPA in the fridge right now, but since I usually brew my own beer, Im drinking that tonight!

I've tried some different brews, but I seem to always come back to Miller Lite.

...always in the bottle.

I'm gonna hit the casino in a bit with the wife and brother in law. Wife and I will plop about 2 bucks each in the penny slots and pretend to play for a few hours while she has crown and I have bacardi and coke free. Then we'll stop on the way home and grab a few 24 oz Steel Reserves and I'll finish getting obliterated on that 8.1% goodness.

I still haven't started. The BiL wanted to go take tourist pictures on the Strip so I let the wife and daughter go with him while I hang out here with my son. When they get back we'll resume the regularly scheduled program and go drink comp drinks at the slots.

Budweiser, bud light, natty light... all beers I grew up drinking.... when I sacrificed quality for quanity! Now I don't touch that crap. If you like a great IPA try Caldera. Its made in Oregon and only comes in cans. Pour into a frosty glass and enjoy my friends. My go to beer these days is a Boston Lager. If you want something dark and full, try a Spaten Optimator... with an alcohol content of 7.5%, it only takes a few and HELLO buzz! What a great thread, I could talk beer about as much as can I talk Sooner football.

I prefer Hefeweizen. There are several COTS out there that are quite good.

Sam Adams makes one that is very good. Here in the city there are several micro's that brew some that are de-lish.

Royal Bavaria on Sooner Road serves a couple and I cannot for the life of me remember what their names are but they are very very good.

I can throw a rock from my house and hit the Royal Bavaria! But, I have not been in the place since I have moved here. Guess its as good as a time as ever to go and get drunk. I wasn't impressed the the octoberfest from Sam Adams this year.

Yea I live just up the road from there but cannot throw a rock and hit it.

My wife likes to go to German restaurants for her birthday and this year we went to the RB and I will not go back to Choctaw or Keller on the castle anymore.

RB has them all beat . They have the best food there period.

You really need to check that place out.

Any kind of Rogue beer you can get your hands on is great! Dead guy ale, Brutal Bitter, Hazzelnut brown, and on it goes!

Arrogant Bastard Ale is good too in a fun and rich sorta way. I love great beer, but these days I am going for the more bang for the buck approach and tend to go for any of the "homeless guy high gravity stuff" that ranges from 8.1% to 12%. Yep...i lost my job recently and have to get shatfaced on a budget! :P

I have heard a lot about Arrogant Bastard, mainly from home brewers, so you know its good shat! The only problem is we can't get it in OK.... for some reason. I'm still on the look out. Do you have a inside track? Where did you get it Crucifax?

I like the sound of the "homeless guy high gravity stuff" plan. What would you recommend?
