If I could pick one player that could be eligible and willing to play football for OU in some sort of time capsule where they were on the team every year...in some Groundhog Day reality...it would be AD. Everyone respects him. Everyone admires him. He has no enemies or equals. He is a true warrior and now has the TWO best NFL highlights of the year. The way he ran over and through that Pittsburgh defender today just speaks volumes to the level of professionalism he brings "All Day".

I freaking love that guy...and the announcers just eat his performance up. Everyone who has ever played football before has so much respect for him and how he grinds it out every play. It isn't always flashy, but you know you get 100% every time. Kudos to AD...so proud to say he is a Sooner.

Notice that the two Steeler TDs were when he wasn't in the game.

Loadholt gave his all. Ran 100 yards stride for stride with those defenders.

That will earn him brownie points with the coaches.

And by that I mean points toward ACTUAL brownies, hehe.

I wish I could watch replays all day long of AD running that guy over, then hurdling him and running for more yards to get them in FG position to tie the game. Too bad Taylor proved why AD is the #1 back and its not even close.

That catch and run was outstanding. I loved how everyone was trying to tackle him with the least amount of contact possible after that. Even the announcers were calling out the defense for being scared.

I agree that AD should never leave the field. If that screen pass would have been to AD the ball would have hi him in the face and either been caught or knocked straight down. but with 5 11 taylor in the game, it went over his head and got picked

Yeah he plowed that defender over. I mean the guy was launched from his feet. It was awesome.

That was an awesome play, but I never want to hear him scream like that again. It WAS just a cornerback after all.

Nope, number 22, but still impressive; he got ran the **** over

My fault. I thought I heard the announcers saying that it was a linebacker-they were saying that AD hit him like a linebacker.

AD has as good of feet as there has been in football. What a great player.

Billy Sims and Barry Sanders among others would disagree. AD has really good feet, great speed, and perhaps unmatched power, he does not have, nor does he rival, the best feet as there has ever been in football.

Moose Johnston was really giving Loadholt props for trying to chase down that one play all the way to the end zone.

If you watched the offensive lineman on that play Load looks to be considerably more athletic, at least from a being able to run sorta way, than their other tackle.

Yep, Loadholt is big, McKinnie is HUGE.

Good post. Barry's feet were ridiculous.

I don't think I've ever seen him that amped up after a play before. I still don't know what could have possible possessed Childress to pull him off the field after that. There is no excuse for having your best player on the sideline in crunch time like that. Absolutely ridiculous.

I'm pretty sure he strained that DB's ego and Tomlin's brain.

Taylor just couldn't concentrate after that because AD blew his mind.

Who am I kidding- AD can't strain anything. Bulletproof tiger.

I know that the Vikes rotate their RBs rather frequently, but AD had the hot hand at that point. Furthermore, they ran the same play to Taylor that they ran for AD on the play prior. No matter the level, sometimes coaches just flat out-think themselves.

True, height wise but side by side, Loadholt looks almost svelte next to McKinnie.

the cb's on the steelers are about the only ones that would be scared to hit. ryan clark tried to lay him out one play and just missed him........that was his diving first down.
if you don't know clark.......he's the dude that took out welker and the ravens rb last year. he fears no man, including AD.
of course that's why they're the steelers and everybody else..........is everybody else.
