I am convinced this is the weakest college football season in quite some time. I don't see greatness anywhere at the top. You have Iowa in the top ten and they are not that good at all...just fortunate and timely. Boise, Cincy and TCU in the top ten. The Heisman is gonna be a joke this year cause I can't really think of any deserving player. Colt and Teblow are not playing at near the level they did last year. Who is a dominating player? I can't think of anyone...

It would have been a relatively easy year to win it all...had Sam and Jermaine been healthy. Major bummer, but college football in general is week. Hard to find ten interesting games a week.

OK, so I know we lost to two teams who aren't that good (Miami and BYU)

but does anyone really think we couldn't beat GT, Oregon, Ok St (we will see), VT, Ohio St, Houston, Pitt, Utah, WVU, SC, or Ole Miss?

I have no doubt that we'd beat GT, Oregon, Pitt, Utah, SC, and Ole Miss.

I am rooting for chaos at the top. I want to see the worst matchup possible for the title game: Boise vs. Cincy or Iowa vs. Cincy. I want Cincy to win so we can knock off the national champion. Those horrible matchups and the terrible ratings that would accompany the game might help change the BCS.

I am actually not a playoff proponent, however. I don't have a huge problem with playoffs but I liked the old BCS system. I think the BCS was much better when it included separate quality win and SOS components. I am all about punishing teams that schedule a bunch of nobodies and that is the only way, because voters don't care.

The Vegas poll is the best and most accurate. We were #5 last week.

We could beat any out there this year. But we could also lose to about anyone in the top 20 on a bad offense day.
