I don't think the Vikings can win this one. Esp. with AD hurt.

Yeah, I think the first Vikings loss is today. They have had too many close calls against mediocre teams that it finally catches up with them.

A good 3-4 defense destroys that outside zone run.

Sometimes good, sometimes not.

they're getting a LOT of tipped passes and getting pressure on Roethlisberger.

"you have to throw it on third down when you throw it on second down"

not when you have the best back in the league!

Vikes needed to make a pick up before the trade deadline. Their secondary is poor, and Winfield is out at least a month.

Winfield might be the best player in NFL. He can control a game when he is "on".

The Vikes have a terrible habit of letting teams march down the field on them with around a minute left. I knew it was coming and left the room to not watch the inevitable scoring drive for the Steelers.

Yes, but it seems like every football game on Fox 23 has been having problems this season; do you have DirecTV Vet?

First and goal from the six inch line and you have Adrian Peterson. Who is calling these pass plays, Tomlin?

Can't kick down 6 at the 6" line.

I think they should have passed to Sydney Rice.

Also. Rotheslinger needs to throw to Hines Ward.

rawlingsHOH

Vikes need a turnover. They'd missed about 4 near picks on Roethls.

Steelers player rips a Vikings' helmet off after the play, no flag in Pittsburgh of course.

Colts player pick six, slides in end-zone like baseball player, flags abound.

NFL can be complete BS.

Chester loses the game.

It shouldn't even have mattered, that blown tripping call was a 14 point swing. Viked were jobbed there.

10/25/2009, 03:20 PM
Childress is an idiot; AD gets them in scoring position with a beastly run on a pass play, then he's pulled for the next 2 plays? Then, Chester Taylor let's a screen pass thru his hands and it turns into a pick 6? Unfreakingreal

Pathetic call. Took 7 off the board for the Vikes and gave 7 to Steelers.

A 14 point flag.

The Vikings are a good team being handicapped by a horrible coach; AD makes a great play on a 29 yard pass and run, then they put Taylor in for two plays and he muffs a screen pass that is returned for a pick 6; unreal

I didn't know that you could trip someone with your butt, sure it looked like he threw his legs out but the contact was with his rear. Football officials are getting more like basketball officials, calling what they think they see instead of the actual play on the field.

Favre + AD + Rice + Harvin + decent protection + Vikings D = Super Bowl

The Vikings definitely looked like the better team on the road against the defending world champs. Just a bit of bad luck lost this one.

I still think the Vikings are one of the top teams in the league and aside from dumb luck and terrible officiating, like today, they have what it takes.

You might be right. I think a lot of people hold a higher opinion of the Vikings today, after a loss, than they did yesterday.

The refs sure do love the Steelers for some reason
