The D looked great again in shutting down a high powered offense. I'm happy that they finally let Landry throw the ball a little farther downfield some in the second half. The receivers responded to the opportunity and actually caught the freakin ball. Saw some improvement today and hope it continues the rest of the season.

the other great thing about throwing deeper passes is there is always a chance you will luck into at least 1 PI per game; that's why you take that chance imo

Nope... We have no problem when we dominate a team from start to finish. We have very hard time winning knock down drag out type games away from norman

I was thinking Cotton, as well. So much depends on what happens between OSU and *, and OSU and us. If OSU wins next week, and we beat them in the last game, you would have a 11-1 *, 10-2 OSU, and we would be 9-3. In that scenario, you presume * would not make it to the MNC, but still goes to the Fiesta. The judgment call would be if a 10-2 OSU is better than us at 9-3, especially if we had just beaten them. It would also be OUr third trip to Dallas this year. I am convinced that the team the SEC team would be LSU. If it was either us or OSU, it would make for a quite interesting scenario.

The game I watched was 1 Kansas WR (briscoe) dropped ball away form it being much closer when it counted. Until the 4th Q, I never thought we had that game tucked away.

You can play that both ways. We had drops too.

I missed the second half, so i can't comment on what happened; however, i did like the chances KW took in the second half and i'm wondering what took him so long

I don't know if i would call 14-3 in control14-6 before half, no?; and our offense looked typically anemic. It took a while in the second half to turn it on, too. We didn't have the game really locked up til 4th qtr. I'm not saying we didn't show improvement. Just that we still have quite a ways to go before we could be called a good offense.

If we get that Holiday Bowl, I'll be glad, and will prolly go to the game.

Really?

In the version I saw...
OU scored TDs on the first two drives of the half. It was 28-6, 5 minutes into the 3rd quarter.

That damn Time Warner must've sent me the wrong game.
