Gilbert may end up being really good, but so much of *'s offense is predicated on the QB improvising and using his instincts. VY didn't really develop that until later in his second year, and Colt didn't until his junior season. Chrissy was supposed to be all world, but he folded when it mattered.

I see the offense moving away from the Zone Read with Gilbert, more like what they were doing with Simms. He has the potential to be a big time QB, he was great at Lake Travis H.S. but hopefully Greg Davis can find a way to screw it up.
