You realize that Alabama blocked two of those three and tipped the other one (or at least it looked like they did from my seat) right?

You make your own luck sometimes. The blocked FGs were an example of someone nutting up in a tough game and making a play-something that us over here in Soonerland could use a bit more of and a bit less of the blowouts.

Thanks for pointing that out ... I was going back and forth between games and doing other stuff so I didn't observe the entire play-by-play action. I'm totally with ya on the nutting up in a tough game and making a play ... I'll take a win over a quality opponent over a blowout over a cupcake anyday.
