I went to the Texass @ KU game last year (my first in Lawrence) and I'm telling you the stadium is like a high school place. Especially concession stands, bathrooms, etc. Worse than the Cotton Bowl before the recent upgrades.

Been to OU/KU in Lawrence twice - 1997 and 2001. '97 was the game where we blocked KU's FG for the win, but we had too many men on the field (I think - it was some stupid penalty) so KU got to kick it again and they won. Apparently the radio broadcast had gone to commercial after the block, and came back from commercial with the news OU had actually lost, not won. Long drive back to Norman. Ah....great memories....:rolleyes:

Not much criticism at Sam Houston or texass State. If you don't live up to the hype at any big time program you will get criticized. Obviously, the jury is still out on that kid. Constructive criticism is never a problem. I've just never been a big fan of straight out negative statements. Just don't feel it is fair to the kids. We sooner fans are better than that.
