I know a few years back, athletes could only be covered in the event of career ending injuries. A college player could take out a policy, but only collect if he never played a down at the professional level. Less that career ending injures, where the injury just caused a drop in stock, weren't applicable.
I think this has since been modified. Is anyone familiar with current available policies?
