He made a huge play even though he wasn't rewarded for it. Showed great hustle.

Was he #48 that knocked the ball out of the endzone for an apparent touchback? That was a great hustle play and not a fluke. You could see he gave the ball a big forearm uppercut as he made the tackle. Only in a cursed year like this year could a "break" from the referee end up costing us. It was a fumble on Franks and normally getting the muff call is a break for the fumbler. In this case is cost us the ball and eventually 3 points. Sigh.

That was a great play, but should have NEVER been made had Dom Franks not gone Mark Bradley.

It was great to see him hustle and make a play that was a huge turning point because if he doesn't make that play......they score 7 or are out at the 2 and most likely punch it in for 7.

It *would* have been a huge play. The refs called the fumble a muff, so the play was already over and UT had the ball at the recovery spot around the 18.

You're right, my bad. I was confused for quite awhile on the call. Either way, good to see him hustle and making plays after taking so much heat after last year.

it actually didn't matter b/c they called it a muff and they couldn't advance the ball
