The Longhorn gathering, east of I35 in Gainesville

Those guys out front of their trailer home, burning heaps of trash; Longhorn flags a-wavin', beer can in one hand // flipping off all the cars on I35 with the other.

I'm usually seeing these guys only at night. I saw them for the first time in broad daylight yesterday, O-M-F-G. What in the sh** kind of freakshow was that ?

If anyone got a pic of that zoo yesterday, it would be the ultimate fark source for years to come.

At least yesterday people weren't slowing down to look at them. The last two years they have caused a delay on the highway.

Yeah they've been out there for years.

I saw a place of residence (trailer), a tent or two, and what appeared a rather large and loosely-knit band of drunken carnies.

One of 'em was yelling at traffic through a bullhorn, but the batteries mustve been dead. Even with the window down, I couldn't hear him. They had a bunch of kids out there with 'em... nice

I seen them on my why home from jerry world, they had the biggest cut out longhorn that I ever seen! Asshats, must be Mack Brown's kids! :D

I think it's an annual UT alumni fundraiser thing they do. I doubt however it is the party alluded to in the McFarland article in the NYT. Could be wrong though.
