Great job BV!!! McCoy made the comments that there were about 5 blitz packages that he had NEVER seen before.

Great post Gresho. Talked to a horn fan this evening who congratulated the Sooners on a game well played. Guess they aren't all poor sports. BV did a great job in scheming for Texas this year. Greg Davis hasn't changed his offense much, and continues to waste his best weapons, and get less out of his offensive line than we do.

Nice post.

Travis Lewis is my new favorite player, he is a leader on this team. I was fortunate enough to be able to sit on the 45 yard line 6th row and I watched Travis over and over pump up the crowd and his team, and every time someone made a big play he was the first to congratulate them. He had so much energy it was awesome.

Great post! And I agree. I absolutely loved watching our defense. They played smash mouth baby. I love it.

We spent most of the game in a nickel.

Just wanted to point that out, since so many people are rabid for it.

Thats the 4th game in 2009 our Offense has lost for us.

IAgree... BV dialed up and awesome defensive game plan. I loved the fact that on passing situations we had a nickel type package in the game and on running downs we RR in the game. (Who played a hell of a football game BTW) I loved the corner blitz when Jackson was on the sideline and Hurst came in and made a big play on 3rd down and went nuts! I got goose bumps. Those are the moments you go to OU-TX for.

I agree... I think he could use one more year... But I am not going to wish any players to come back after seeing what has happened to the ones that came back this year...

Defense was great, they could have folded several times when our offense put pressure on them.

It was a great gameplan and well played. My only question is why are we saving blitz packages for the sixth game of the season. Maybe our season isn't over if we use those packages against BYU or Miami.
