How did everyone feel about that?

It considerably hurts our outside run game, that is for sure.

Didn't notice it, didn't seem to help the inside running game.

OL is extremely disappointing..You would think with spring and fall preparation and 6 games they wouldn't suck.

A supposed elite program that has had to try a TE at center, and now at guard is a bit embarrassing.

The blocking from the TE position was noticably worse.

Good is an enigma.

Well it worked out ok for Chris Chester, so maybe it will help him at the next level

I remember when he committed to us over texass...whorns were disappointed. Hasn't shown a lot yet, but heck he got here the same time Landry did. Give him time to develop as well, he may turn out Good. :D

I agree, OL is Eldridge's shot at the next level.

Is it just me or did we have a plague of injuries, and maybe that's affecting this team just a smidgen.

He will be back at TE when Simmons comes back. Chester didn't go back and fourth he converted and played OL at least two solid years and was close to 300 pounds his SR year. Totally different situation.

I think Brody will be trying to gain a lot of weight after the season.

Yeah, and then he'll be moved back to TE or WR or DB. Its like John Blake is back.

If Landry gets hurt will we try Eldridge at QB?

Before you laugh or scoff at that, think about it, it would give KW more reason to play some of that Big 10 style football he so loves. ;)

No, he'll be working out for NFL personnel.

Eldridge now a guard.

And, per Kevin Wilson, he is the best guard ever.

Do we have this many injuries on the OL? Do we have any youngins that are capable of stepping up? I don't even have words to describe the bazaro land this years offensive squad seems to be in.

Here's hoping that Eldridge kicks some serious *** at guard.

Curly Bill

Can we maybe try Eldridge at kicker next? :D

eldridge will have better luck at arena football than the NFL..unless he gains 70 lbs

why not move habern to guard and let eldridge play center? habern is bigger.

Then you have two guys playing out of position instead of just one.

This year is not working out the way we want it to anyway, put Good, Evans, or someone else there and let them sink or swim.

As terrible as it all seems to some folks...

We almost won those 3 losses.

All these set backs and injuries and penalties and yet...we were in the hunt at the end of every one of those losses.

It's hard to choke down what could have been with a few things like a healthy Sam and Gresh. A few youngsters stepping up when they were ready instead of being forced into being the next answer.

As a Sooner Fan...I think we're just going to have to find some positives in each of the next six games.

Yep, because our defense is twice as good as the 05 squad. Maybe not quite up to 01, but that is a pretty high standard.

Why is it that every 4-5 years our OL sucks? Shouldnt we do something to make sure that doesnt happen?

They put Eldridge at guard bc they wanted to go 4 wide and didn't think he was needed on the outside for blocking. Appearently they thought his blocking was needed more on the inside to establish a running game. That doesn't boad well for Good as a blocker. I thought this kid was suppose to be the strongest guy on our team!
