It wouldn't surprise me if he ends up being a slot receiver and kick returner in the NFL. I think that plays best to his strengths.

I hope he sees a lot more passes the rest of the season!

He's very special. Just not an every down back.

The only reason I can see him leaving is because he will graduate in spring. He's probably a day two draft pick.

Gotta wonder what might have been with him if he hadn't had those injuries.

i would say there is 20-30 backs as good or better than DM this season..all those injuries

Murray will be a good player in the NFL as a tailback. He can run, catch, and block. He's a total package. He's just been forced to play in a pass oriented offense while sharing carries with another back. Murray is a rythm back and his sharing of carries has held him back a little.

College = able running back with good hands, big play breaking moves

NFL = servicable return man and a niche backup slot receiver, won't see any time at running back

Nothing against Demarco - he doesn't even have the body type for an NFL running back. More so a return man or slot receiver.

nothing special? you are crazy my friend. He had over 100 yards receiving, and if we had an O-Line, he would do the same rushing game in and game out. He will be a Brian Westbrook-type in the NFL, and be damn good at it.

Amen to that! Ir's hard to cheer for him every play when you wonder if he' going to get back up under his own steam! He's a fighter though, and I wish him the best whatever he decides to do, or where ever he plays!!

no way guys...a game with a 100 yards receiving and he's a NFL stud?

He is not anything like Brian Westbrook...different style runner, more stiff than Westbrook, not as smooth coming out of the backfield...

He isn't as polished as Iglesias and he's buried on a team depth chart that lacks anything at WR....

He missed game time today...being hurt...he has shown he can do several things good, some ok, but nothing that is really NFL
I think he is a good college player now....a few injuries ago, maybe more but not now

He's another guy who needs to come back. The thing is, with both him and Sam, the thing is that unless we get improvement from the line, it may not make a difference.

I like his chances.

I can't see him lasting long in the nfl. Most OU players in the league seem to get hurt and fade away.

He was special before his last two injuries. He is still pretty darn good. This O line is average at best. Anytime we play a D with athletes our backs will struggle.

That is true for all players in the league. I think the average is like 3 years.

It seems like most of ours don't hardly make it through the first training camp.

I think most NFL scouts would advise him to stay in school.
He may be something special on this team, but as we all know, this team isn't very special.

He needs to come back, as is I can't see an NFL future for him.

Sam and JG on the other hand, McCoy as well, need to join Trent and go earn a nice living.

I think he'll get killed as a tailback. Like Reggie Bush. He needs space.

At the next level, he'll have an O-line to run behind.
