I have posted a few Juanita stories over the years, so I thought I would share this, as my 96 y/o grandmother passed away today.

It's time to move on Juanita, there is no more to do here. You raised three girls while your husband fought the nazis in WWII.

You stayed true to your beliefs through your marriage and life.

You tried to teach every grandchild of yours to play piano, and never saw a baby that didn't, in your opinion, have piano player's fingers. The music lessons you taught me helped me to become the rock star I am. Or should have been.

You informed me that Chloe is not a white girls name when I told you the name of your future great grand daughter (thanks, Juanita http://www.slickdawg.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif )

You were dismissed from your bridge group when you called your partner a stupid sob.

You lived on your own until the end, you were frisky until the end. Now it's time to let go on move on.

You will be missed.

Sorry for your loss. Juanita has shaped you more than you know, grandparents have a way of doing that.

She sounds like a tremendous lady that will be missed.

Condolences on the loss, Howzit. I like your tribute and the fact that Juanita stayed true to her beliefs and frisky for the 96 years she had on this earth. That generation is truly irreplaceable, in my opinion.
