View Full Version : OK My water heater went to Leakin

Like a STD

So In looking fer a replacement . I checked out NEW Propane 40 Gal heaters ( cost 400 Bucks)

A 40 Gal lectric was 270( then Id have to run Lectric cause I had Propane )

I went on Ebay and found a On Demand lectric fer 250 bucks , Had to do an addon Breaker box (which I would have had to have done fer an lectric 40 gal.)

Total cost was 400 bucks

Werks Great, More Hot water than I need and I only heat what I use .
**** Im gonna Buy another one to keep fer a spare :cool:

Hope you upgraded your water heater flue. Supposedly the on-demand run much hotter and you need a double walled stainless steel flue.
