Thanks for updating the subject line to a more accurate title. This whole episode just reinforces the idea that I don't want kids until science discovers a way to automatically program babies to have IQ's at a minimum of 100.

I have absolutely no patience for stupidity.

Also...if there was anyway that my Father had built that contraption and had some idea of putting me in it...it wouldn't seem very stupid to me to go and hide in the attic so he didn't find me.

In all of the interviews, I have never seen the mother talk. You would think the media would love to get a shot of the emotional, crying mother talking about finding out that her child is alive and well.

i watched a part of the wife swap episode on youtube. One thing is for sure...those kids need the **** beat out of them and the dad is a wacko. I think it was Falcon that said his "new mom" was a dumbass and asked her when she was going to shut up already. At one point the "new mom" said that all their science experiments were going to blow up in their face on day.

Haha, she's more of a prophet than OleVet, even!

"Science" is not what that guy does. If he were half the amateur scientist he claims he would have known right away how much weight that helium balloon could lift. After seeing some details about it, I'm thinking its too small to lift his kid in a plywood box.

They should make the family pay for whatever the search cost; i'm sure that was many thousands of tax payer dollars that were wasted
