It seemed from like 8th grade to junior year in high school (1997-2001) that this craze would never end but it eventually did. My mom, sister and I and evenn a good friend of mine and his siblings were all in the action. Sure, the regular Beanies were fun to get but it was all about the Beanie Bears and we would go all over the city to places that had them and when on vacations we would hunt them down if there were some in site.

The fun part was trying to get all the Bears of the different countries and there were some that we couldn't get but the search and enjoyment of it all was a lot of fun. Yeah I was a little older but it was still a youthful time

Ninja Turtles and Beanie Babies...great times indeed!

Any of you have BB experiences?

Wow, sounds like a convention I would wanna skip. I have a few because my grandmother gave them to me, but other than that, I never crossed state lines for them.

My wife has most of them stored in 3 big boxes. I have moved them to 4 different houses over the last 10 years without ever having to open one. Another 20 years and they will be PURE GOLD!
