Briefly: Bob Stoops said the decision on WR Ryan Broyles' status will come Thursday or Friday, as will that of injured safety Quinton Carter. Both are practicing. ... Senior LB Ryan Reynolds has applied to the NCAA for a medical hardship after he was lost for the season with a knee injury in last year's game against Texas. If granted the hardship, Reynolds will have a sixth year of eligibility.

IRVING -- Dallas Cowboys rookie receiver Manuel Johnson, who is on the team's practice squad after playing at Oklahoma last season, said Wednesday that he expects injured Sooners receiver Ryan Broyles to play Saturday against Texas in Dallas.
Johnson said he often texts and talks to Broyles and is confident that he'll play against the Longhorns. Johnson played with Broyles last season in Norman.

I still remember him playing with that contraption on his arm last year. what a warrior. What would be great here in Big-D would be if they cut that loser Roy Williams and put in Manny... or even Travis Wilson.

This season is nothing more than a Gift from God, offering perspective for those who gripe and moan that we had the nerve to go to 4 natl title games in 10 yrs and lose 3 of them.

It will be a very satisfying 10 or 11 win season which will include a win of uterus
