For the second straight year, we played almost exclusively man defense against Baylor.

I rewatched the first 2 possessions of the first half and the first 3 of the second. Lot of 0 and 1 deep coverage. On occassion, some 2-deep, man under.

I noticed a little tendancy to tip our blitzes with Keenan Clayton. When he doesn't walk out with the slot receiver, he always came. Carter (or Nelson) was lined up over the slot.

I think we give away OUr blitzes too early most of the time, we need to time the snap count better! Or would could fire BV and get better blitz packages! :D

Wait... didn't we disguise our blitzes better against Texas Tech last year... and Missouri in the Big 12 Championship two years ago.

You mean the only two teams worth a crap we've been able to beat lately? The two teams that our apologists can hang their hats on?

Also beat Texas that season, and Cincy the next season.

Yep, that was a huge problem with BYU, we'd try to hide the blitz but then creep in on snap anticipation, then BYU would change the play and we wouldn't check out, they caught us 3-4 times that way.

Defensive audibles... get caught sneaking up for the blitz, change direction and pull back. But rotate your guys between the linemen back and forth and keep them guessing...
