That's the answer he gave during the press conference in response to whether he will come back next year. :pop:

What's funny is one of the reporters said, "Really?"

Just can't believe that Sam loves college so much.

You didn't hear the end of the question.

The entire question was "Will you come back to school next year for homecoming?"

Isn't the NFL changing the rookie salary structure or something this year meaning he has to go this year or really pass on big $$$$$?

He has repeatedly said that money is not everything; I think he leaves, but it won't be for the money.

What sort of life does Nate Hybl, Jason White, and Heupel have? They are not rich, but the guys arent eating out of trash cans.

I've caught a few Bradford press conferences over the past couple of days. Try doing a shot every time he says "Obviously." I guarantee you'll be on your *** by the time he leaves the podium.

It's like watching AD on the Jim Rome show...every sentence out of his mouth began with, "Oh yeah, definitely, you know..."

Sam's already said that money isn't everything to him. You see that more with players that aren't flat broke and I think Sam qualifies as one of the "not flat broke" players.

As such, he doesn't need money, so "I don't know, maybe" sounds about right for his draft status.

All OU players end up sounding like Stoops when they head to the NFL...im just excited to finally see an OU QB in the NFL next year. I just hope it is Carolina and not Oakland or Cleveland or some crap pot like that

Sam knows that whatever he does he will probably be a major success. That is probably why he doesn't have the "take the money and run" attitude.

I read a poster that thinks he will go to seattle. I think that would be a great fit for bradford. he would have at least one great reciever and a good tight end. Also seattle has denvers first round pick this year, so if seattle can draft bradford in the top five and then take a rb with the later pick, seattle would be really good. on a side note, how ironic would it be if seattle did draft him. we take their basketball franchise and in return we give them a franchise qb for their football team. ha ha

Once again, they were saying this last year and the year before. Any proof that it is actually gong to happen?

This quote from the Boz seemed appropriate.

Q: You’ve probably been asked thousands of times what you liked most about being a Sooner. What I want to know is what you liked the least. There has to be something.

A: Being a Sooner was a dream come true for me. Being a relevant player on a National Championship team was icing on the cake. As far as the only negative that I have is not coming back to play my last year. I listened to people that cared about themselves instead of me. My heart told me to come back and if I had I believe we would have beaten the Miami Hurricanes for my final game and exact my revenge and I would have help bring another National Championship home. I am still haunted by that decision. That one hurts.

anyhow... the Cowboys are aligning themselves to draft Colt McCoy.....

Jerry Jones is a dumbass. I don't want to see Sam as a Cowboy. And I'm a Cowboy fan by the way. Jerry is the next Al Davis.

dayam folks. I didn't step on anyone's kitten. OU QB's who've gone to Dallas have done okay for themselves.

And, not to defend Jones, but about 99% of NFL owners are big time tools.

IIRC the Collective Bargaining Agreement stipulates an uncapped season next year if they do not have a new one in place, which as of right now they do not and it expires after the 2010 season. The NFLPA has no interest in negotiating a salary cap again let alone a rookie cap, there is more than likely going to be a lockout for 2011 ALA the NHL than an agreement being in place based off of current rhetoric.

Dan Snyder has passed Jones in the fast lane and seems to have passed Davis.

that's my dream baby!!!! hopefully they keep losing. it's actually an ideal situation because they're a good club and a good organization, just have had some terrible injury problems.

I agree, it's a great organization! How sweet would that be to have Sammy out here! There are lots of Sooners in the northwest who would be at those games! :D

Doesn't Sam have some tie-in to St. Louis? Seems like I remember some family member's funeral or something like that....or maybe it was Heupel.

I'd love to see him in St. Louis, but they've sure got some rebuilding to do.

Sam's taking off for the NFL.

He'll have his degree, he'll have another Big 12 Championship, and a bowl game win.

With all that and a salary cap, time to move on.
