So after seeing a dozen Taco Bell ads within an hour last night during my Monday night non-football watching time (I was doing laundry), I decided to run out and get a Black Jack Taco, thinking that they made a blue corn shelled taco.

As it turns out, the "black" is not "blue..." corn... but rather, just dye. It's a regular taco shell with black dye.

I wanted to let y'all know, before anyone else who is a fan of blue corn ends up disappointed :(

Its not just a taco with a black shell though. Its got some sauce on it. Pretty dang good.

The taste is fine. We had ours with chicken instead of beef (the working out thing would frown at beef).

The disappointment was in the shell... the black-dye shell. Boo.

I didn't think it tasted much different than the regular tacos.

Taco Bell just rehashes the same ingredients and packages them differently. You guys have Bueno and oh how I miss me some Bueno.
