...but did I unknowingly gun my DeLorean to 88 and travel back to 2005?

- We're 3-2 with unproven receivers and a Swiss cheese O-Line about to
face an undefeated #2 (in the Coaches') Texas with MNC aspirations and a likely Heisman finalist.

- We lose the MNC in Miami to kick off the calendar year.

- We lost our opener vs. a better-than-advertised MWC opponent.

- We beat Tulsa at home.

- We then lost on the road to a rebuilding traditional power largely due to our own mistakes.

So far this has been a little Twilight Zone-y. Anything else?

Oh well, at least we win our bowl game. ;)

Can I borrow your Flux Capacitor when you are done with it? there's something back in 1981 I need to go back and fix.

2005 - our QB is a an unproven, interception-prone, complete *********
2009 - our QB is 100% awesome class act Heisman trophy winner who rarely throws INTs

i prefer to look at it this way :D

Nice catch. Texas is a week later this year than it was in 2005. We were 2-2 going into Texas. I knew we had two losses, though.

Texas' D in '05 was awesome, they had already proven themselves by beating Ohio State in Columbus, and they had one of the best run games in the country.

So far, none of that is true this year.

Did they ever figure out who committed pass interference on Ingram's INT from the first half of that Texas game in '05?

They'll get to that as soon as they figure out exactly how a pass that bounces off the ground twice and is then picked up by a Texas defender can be ruled an interception.

or after they figure out it's not roughing the passer if you hit McCoy while he still has the ball.

While we're at it, did we ever officially rule that the lateral to AD in the '06 game was a rear lateral when it went forward?
