LAWRENCE, Kan. – ABC has decided to utilize one of its six-day selection opportunities and will announce the start time of both the Oklahoma at Kansas and Texas at Missouri games next Sunday.



Both games, which will be played on Saturday, Oct. 24, will be televised on ABC with one game at 2:30 p.m. and the other at 7 p.m.



Kansas appeared on ABC four times since the beginning of the 2007 season. In 2007 KU played on ABC against Oklahoma State, Iowa State and Missouri. Last season the Kansas at Oklahoma game was also on ABC.


Here is a look at the Big 12 television schedule for the next two weekends:



Saturday, Oct. 17

Texas vs. Oklahoma, Dallas, 11 a.m., ABC

Texas Tech at Nebraska, 2:30 p.m., ABC

Kansas at Colorado, 6 p.m., FSN

Texas A&M at Kansas State, 6 p.m., FCS

Baylor at Iowa State, 6 p.m.

Missouri at Oklahoma State, 8:15 p.m., ESPN2



Saturday, Oct. 24

Oklahoma at Kansas, 2:30 or 7 p.m., ABC

Texas at Missouri, 2:30 or 7 p.m., ABC

FSN and Versus will each select a game which will be televised at 11:30 a.m.

I'm sure you're right about that, but I wish it wasn't so. I cringe when the Sooners play a road game at night. Plus, I hate when I have a seven hour drinking lead time before kickoff. I can't always remember what happened in the second half.

Didn't see it posted but I saw this on Google News under Sooners. It looks like OU/KSU is on FSN.

FSN to Televise Wildcats and Sooners

MANHATTAN, Kan. - The Big 12 Conference and Fox Sports Net officials announced Monday that Kansas State's October 31 football matchup at No. 25 Oklahoma will be broadcast live on Fox Sports Net as part of the league's weekly television package. Kickoff from Memorial Stadium is set for 6 p.m.

The contest will mark the seventh overall appearance on television this season for the Wildcats and the third on Fox Sports Net. The network televised the September 19 game at UCLA to a national audience, while the Texas Tech game on October 10 was aired across the Big 12 region.

Kansas State returns to action on Saturday as the Wildcats host Colorado at 11:30 a.m., on FCS. Tickets remain for Saturday's game, including $20 tickets for alumni and young alumni members. The most convenient way to order tickets is online at www.k-statesports.com. Tickets may also be purchased at the K-State Athletic Ticket Office in Bramlage Coliseum or by calling 1-800-221-CATS.

Having the same dilemma.. Let's just say the wife was less than enthused when I informed her she would be escorting the kids on their annual candy-fest....

Actually, it's kids or OVJ?? Does that make me an alcoholic?? :D

I'm wondering if this is a good idea, and then I realize, hey...all the drunks will be at the game!!!!! So the kiddos should be very safe.

Should be a full stadium. The Pride's Halloween halftime show is worth the price of admission.
