Offense...
(opponents played rank in respective defensive category, Idaho State = UR)

Total
OU: 14th (50, UR, 27, 39, 78)
Texas 7th (74, 86, 55, 119, 85)

Clearly, Oklahoma has faced considerably tougher defenses, in comparison. Granted, Idaho State is the worst, OU played the 3 best (BYU, Tulsa, Miami).

Rush
OU: 33rd (36, UR, 16, 78, 94)
Texas: 39th (27, 43, 28, 112, 92)

Texas is ranked slightly lower in rushing, similar opposition rankings.

Pass Efficiency
OU: 31st (66, UR, 41, 50, 26)
Texas: 22nd (72, 47, 44, 98, 107)

Baylor has a suprising strong pass efficiency defense. 11 dropped passes, by OU receivers, certainly helped that ranking.

Scoring
OU: 17th (43, UR, 21, 56, 45)
Texas: 1st (103, 74, 42, 110, 96)

Texas is the highest scoring team in the country, though their special teams have contributed heavily to this ranking, so it isn't a pure offensive stat. Rank of competition isn't close here, OU in a landslide.

I like the statistical comparisons. I also know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Texas will be the best team we've played all year. The statistics won't mean much if we don't execute.
