well we already know texas sucks, CK mentioned they may be without 2 running backs, their running games sucks anyway. If we could make them 1 dimensional we could have a field day, IF!

Maybe Vegas knows that Musclehead has been fired? Don't you think that would make us better Collier ol boy? ;) :P

Collier11

Oh goodness, we could beat texas 28-7 and you would still be mad that texas converted 39.6% of their 3rd downs

Curly Bill

LOL...

I just like referring to BV as Musclehead -- I is a genius for coming up with that. :D

Hard call. I was thinking about 7 or so. But Texas has played one of the weakest schedules in the country thus far, and hasn't looked that great, even against the poor competition.

I was expecting it to be 7. Just shows how unimpressive Texas has been in their games to this point.

I expected it to stay right around 6.5-7.5 and we all know that they set the lines to induce betting on both sides and make their money but I've always looked at it as the commentators, espn, and all the writers say what they want with no recourse, Vegas sets the lines to keep makin money.

Exactly...and the early bettors went in heavily on TX laying the one point so the spread increased to entice more OU money... it will be interesting to see how the late money flows.

Wait till Wednesday. The line will move by then. Vegas is just baiting bets to fall on Texas cuz' it looks like a gift right now.

Probably shows that a lot of money believes a (somewhat) healthy Bradford is that much better than McCoy. A little surprising considering our O line and receiver play to date, have to believe the line will adjust to 5 or so by later in the week.

Also, it's kind of overlooked, but our defensive stats for the year are impressive, a lot of people may be figuring we'll stuff the run and make * one-demensional, for right or for wrong.

I go with the tested v. untested argument. * has played almost no one, and the only decent team that they have played was at home, and it was a pedestrian 10 point win over a team that cost them a MNC shot last year. They look at us as much more tested, and having lost both games by a combined 2 points without the Heisman Trophy Winner.

True, just checked the NCAA stat site, based on opponents played so far this year, OU has #4 strength of schedule in the country, * is #52. We have the #3 scoring D, and we also have the #17 scoring O, two games without Bradford.

At least on paper you can see why the money so far is pretty close on this.

Basically I think Vegas is looking at this game as if Bradford had been playing and We are 5-0 as well

With the way things have been going around the country, if we were, we would be shoo in for the MNC.

And we'd subsequently get stomped by (most likely) Bama. This team isn't MNC caliber. I'd just love to somehow win the Big12 again and actually win a BCS bowl.

Yeah, even with a healthy Sam, and even if we had Broyles and Gresh, I don't think we could beat 'Bama. It just looks like their year, which they are the SEC version of us. What we NEED to do though is spoil the supposed "red letter years" for *, KU, Nebbish, and the Pokes, and break the BCS curse.

If we were completely healthy I would love our chances against Bama.

Its not that they think Texas is a 3 pt favorite but that's the line they think the public will bet. They might think Texas is an 8 point favorite or that Oklahoma is an 8 point favorite but they also know they don't have to give that many points because most OU fans and most UT fans are gonna bet for their team whether its a 3 pt line or an 8 pt line.

The concern there would be with the OL. 'Bama's DL and LBs is freaking mean. I would love to see that match up, but until the line develops, they would have an advantage there.
