I know it will depend on how Texas' offense
is doing. If they are struggling I think we'll
see at least 5 holding calls on OU and 3 touch
personal fouls when McCoy runs the ball.

I will guarantee you that the Big 12 officials will
call at least 13 penalties against OU.

They called 20 against Colorado last night.

Seriously, how does Texas get such favorable calls every week? The same thing happened against Tech

14 penalties against TT in their game
v. Texas.

Not to mention ignoring a couple of
blatant PF that should have been called
on Texas' defense.

Two Big 12 games so far:

UT OPPT

# Penalties 14 33
Yards 154 253

Look for roughly the same 2:1 desparity v. OU

In an early 70s RRS, a Texas running back turned the corner and as he began to accelerate he got absolutley slobber*knocked into the sidelines. A flag was thrown, the officials huddled, and the Referee made the announcement. (I swear I am not making this up.)

"Flagrant Tackling on the defense. 15 yards. The result is a first down."

It's not so much how many penalties, it's when we get them.

3rd and goal at the 2? Holding? Really?

I am still convinced the Big 12 officials are instructed to give Texas advantages because they are such a huge revenue generator for the league. Mangino stated it in the past, and I'm inclined to think it wasn't a fluke that he "slipped" that into the presser.
