How often does this happen? I looked back at some box scores from last year, when we ran A TON of plays, and didn't see a game with 100 plays.

Nearly 600 yards looks great. Less then six yards a snap is decidedly less impressive.

Gotta run the ball better; too many no gains and lost yardage runs will kill us next week

We will need to get in a rhythm, because they will be teeing off on us. Hopefully, we will see more of DeJuan Miller and Adron Tennell has got over his drops.

Think we could do better running the ball if we stop trying to bounce Brown outside. He's a power back and he doesn't have the speed to get outside. That's Murray's bag.

I wish we would cut all the shotgun runs around the end that we do with Brown; that **** doesn't work against a fast *** defense

You are right. The only thing is....Murray is still a more powerful back than Brown. Since Brown cut the weight, the only thing he is good for is short cut-back runs. The only reason Brown should be in the game is if we want Murray at slot WR or Murray needs a breather.

DM is definitely the power back; Brown is a finesse back. I think DM is the one that would benefit from dropping a few lbs. I keep hearing the bragging about him being up to 220, but he already had power. Seems he could use a little more quickness after the 2 surgeries. But maybe he is not 100% yet.

I agree, the weight loss has hurt the previously strongest area of Brown's game, the ability to move the chains.

I wasn't able to watch the game. I take it we ran the 'no-huddle' alot more this game?

Dropped passes stopped the clock is my best guess. I had to Gametracker it. If a couple more of those drops are catches, we see an overwhelming blowout of Baylor. I wonder which receivers will show up for the game this Saturday.

It's not so much that we were in the no-huddle, but Baylor was as well. The pace was pretty frenetic.

I would look away from screen for a second and then turn back thinking I was watching a replay? no, it was the next play. Very fast paced game.

The silver lining here is that Sam got in a full game and a half worth of prep time in one game. If next week would have been his first game and we came out as sluggish as we did against BU, we would have been down 14+ points before we got warmed up. Having said that, we don't need a silver lining this week receivers - catch the dang ball!!

We have tried to run off the right side inside the 10 so many times, it would make sense to run a play action pass once in a while, that is if someone could catch it.

100 plays, and still couldn't hang a half a hundred :gary:

I was amazed that we ran so many plays after the first quarter time of possession was like 11:30 to 3:30 in favor of Baylor.
